Salah’s Future at Liverpool in Question as PSG Makes a Move

According to Sports Zone, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has reportedly met with Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Morocco. This meeting has sparked speculation over Salah’s future at Liverpool, with PSG potentially eyeing him as a replacement for one of their star players – Lionel MessiKylian Mbappe, or Neymar.

Messi has already confirmed his move to MLS side Inter Miami on a free transfer this summer. Meanwhile, Mbappe has informed PSG that he won’t be renewing his contract, increasing the likelihood of his departure. Neymar’s future at the club is also uncertain, with PSG reportedly prepared to let him go for a suitable offer.

Al-Khelaifi and Salah have been in constant contact since the World Cup in Qatar, with the PSG president suggesting that Salah could replace Messi at the Parc des Princes. However, the exact content of their discussion remains unknown. Salah, who signed a new three-year deal with Liverpool last summer, was reportedly “happy to entertain Al Khelaifi’s approach” without necessarily agreeing with the PSG president.

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has warned that PSG’s move for Salah is ‘nailed on’ following Messi’s departure. However, he also reassured Liverpool fans, stating that the club has a history of not being forced into selling unless it’s on their own terms.
