Despite interest from Real Madrid, the La Liga giants were reportedly unwilling to pay over £50m, including add-ons. Arsenal, however, have shown a willingness to negotiate a higher fee. Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, is said to be keen on adding Havertz to his squad, seeing him as a valuable addition to their attacking options alongside Gabriel Jesus.
