‘We have a great relationship’ – Pochettino doesn’t rule out Harry Kane transfer as Chelsea seek reinforcements!

Mauricio Pochettino refused to rule out a move for star striker Harry Kane as Chelsea still seek to find the solution to their attack. Romelu Lukaku is considered to leave the club once again as Pochettino continues to heap praises on his former striker.

Speaking to reporters, Pochettino said, “I don’t like to talk about players in another club, but you are talking about one of the greatest, one of the best strikers in the world. It’s not fair to talk, it’s not fair to say nothing. People are not stupid, fans are not stupid, they are so clever and they know my relationship with him was always amazing. I saw him when he was young, grow up and achieve all he was achieving and of course, we have a great relationship.”

“At the moment we are thinking in different ways. We are not thinking about that. Of course, working hard to try to provide the squad with good qualities. I don’t like to talk about players and, more than that, players who were close to me.”

Talking about his new owners, he warned them that he is in charge and any locker room visit should be vetted by him. Speaking to reporters, the Argentine said, “Always they need to communicate [with] myself – I need to know and to prepare. The head coach or the manager is who decides the thing, how it’s going to work, no? In the dressing room, on the pitch, on the training ground … also with the sporting director, all together, to create the line.”

Pochettino will have a big job on his hands as Chelsea need a big turnaround to make up for the terrible performances last season.
