AC Milan is keen to sign Loftus-Cheek as a replacement for Italy international Sandro Tonali, who is set to join Newcastle for £65 million. The English midfielder will join his former Chelsea teammates Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori at the San Siro.
Loftus-Cheek made his Chelsea debut in 2014, but his breakthrough as a Premier League player came on loan at Crystal Palace during the 2017-18 campaign.
The England international excelled at Selhurst Park before returning to Chelsea the following season, registering his best-ever scoring season with 10 goals in all competitions.
However, a ruptured Achilles during a friendly match against New England Revolution in July 2019 kept him out for almost a year.
The move to AC Milan will provide Loftus-Cheek with a new challenge and an opportunity to reignite his career in Serie A.
