However, the club also needs to address its left-back position due to the uncertainty surrounding the futures of Ferland Mendy and Nacho Fernandez. Mendy has struggled with injuries throughout the 2022-23 season, and Nacho Fernandez’s contract is set to expire at the end of the month.

Davies has emerged as a potential target for Real Madrid. The club has reportedly made contact with Bayern Munich to inquire about the player’s availability. According to Marca, Bayern has not closed the door on a potential sale, although they are keen to retain Davies.

Davies’ agent, Nedal Huoseh, recently admitted that his client is attracting interest from several clubs. He stated, “A number of clubs are interested [in Davies] but no direct talks [on a transfer]. Davies has two years left on his contract. Bayern are hoping to extend the contract. Nothing confirmed yet.“
Since joining Bayern in 2019, Davies has made 152 appearances for the club, scoring eight goals and providing 25 assists.
