PSG’s Potential Pursuit of Julian Nagelsmann Gains Momentum

Florian Plettenberg, a reputable journalist from Sky Sport, recently provided an update on the potential interest between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann.

While Nagelsmann has been linked to various job opportunities, such as Tottenham Hotspur and Napoli, the reports connecting him to PSG appear to hold more credibility.

According to Plettenberg, there is indeed a strong mutual interest between Nagelsmann and PSG. This revelation adds fuel to the speculation surrounding the potential move.

However, Plettenberg also clarified that as of now, PSG has not officially presented a proposal to either Nagelsmann or Bayern Munich.

When it comes to Nagelsmann’s transfer, Bayern Munich is unlikely to recover the full amount they initially paid RB Leipzig for his services. The initial transfer fee was rumored to be around €25 million.

While the exact figures remain undisclosed, the sum that Plettenberg mentioned would still be a substantial return for Bayern Munich if they can secure it.

Reports from Tz journalists Manuel Bonke and Philipp Kessler, shared via the Twitter account @iMiaSanMia, suggest that if PSG does indeed sign Nagelsmann, Bayern Munich could receive approximately €8-€10 million.

It is important to note that no official confirmation has been provided at this stage, and negotiations are still ongoing.
