The final day of the Premier League season was a rollercoaster of emotions for fans across the country. Leeds United and Leicester City faced the harsh reality of relegation, while Everton breathed a sigh of relief as they secured their place in the top flight. Meanwhile, Aston Villa celebrated their successful campaign by securing a spot in the Europa Conference League.

Leeds United’s three-season stint in the Premier League came to an end as they fell to a rampant Tottenham Hotspur. Despite a valiant effort, Leeds couldn’t overcome the early goals from Harry Kane and Pedro Porro. Jack Harrison’s goal for Leeds was quickly nullified by Kane’s second, sealing Leeds’ fate.

Everton, on the other hand, managed to secure their Premier League status with a narrow victory over Bournemouth. Abdoulaye Doucouré’s stunning goal was enough to keep the Toffees afloat, despite a tense 90 minutes at Goodison Park.

Leicester City’s Premier League dreams were shattered despite a final day victory over West Ham United. Goals from Harvey Barnes and Wout Faes were not enough to save the Foxes from relegation.

Aston Villa, however, ended their season on a high note by securing a place in the Europa Conference League. Goals from Douglas Luiz and Ollie Watkins ensured a final day win over Brighton, cementing Villa’s place in Europe.
