The Spanish manager, who guided the Gunners to a second-placed finish in the Premier League last season, has been the subject of interest from the French giants, who are currently in search of a new manager following the departure of Christophe Galtier.

Arteta’s connection with PSG dates back to his early career at Barcelona, where he spent an 18-month loan spell with the French club. However, the Arsenal boss has reportedly turned down PSG’s approach, stating that he feels “loved and valued” by Arsenal’s owners, Stan and Josh Kroenke. He expressed his gratitude for being at Arsenal and his commitment to the ongoing project at the club.

The Spaniard’s ambition remains undeterred as he is adamant that Arsenal will challenge for the Premier League title next season. He acknowledged the competitive level of the league, citing the quality, organization, resources, and the influx of good coaches as contributing factors to its difficulty. However, he remains confident in Arsenal’s potential, stating, “If not, I wouldn’t be sitting here. That’s our ambition.”

Despite the allure of managing a top-tier club like PSG, Arteta’s decision to stay with Arsenal underscores his dedication to the club and his belief in its potential for success. His focus remains on building a strong team capable of challenging for the Premier League title, a goal that Arsenal fans will undoubtedly be eager to see come to fruition.
