French club Lyon have identified Chelsea winger and US national team captain Christian Pulisic as a priority signing this summer. The French club have reportedly offered a sum of €25 million for the talented player.
The offer from Lyon also includes a buy-back option for Chelsea, adding another layer of intrigue to the potential deal.
The bid from Lyon is considerably higher than a previous offer from AC Milan, which was reported to be around €14 million. This puts Lyon in a favourable position, as Chelsea would logically prefer to sell to the highest bidder.
However, the transfer is far from a done deal. According to The Athletic, Pulisic has already signed an agreement with AC Milan and seems to prefer a move to the Italian club, who have qualified for the next Champions League. Despite this, Lyon are not backing down and are determined to make their summer dream come true.
