Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have agreed on a deal to sign Lucas Hernandez from Bayern Munich for a reported fee of €45 million + add-ons.
The French international is set to sign a three-year contract with an option for an additional year. Hernandez has already travelled to Paris and is expected to complete his medical examination soon.
The 27-year-old defender has had a challenging 2022-23 season, with his campaign ending prematurely due to a torn ACL during the 2022 World Cup.
Despite this setback, PSG is confident in Hernandez’s ability to bolster their defence, as he is regarded as one of Europe’s best left-backs.

Bayern Munich is set to replace Hernandez with Napoli’s Kim Min-jae for a reported fee of €50 million. The South Korean center-back is expected to join the German club as they look to strengthen their defence for the upcoming season.
The official announcement of Lucas Hernandez’s transfer to Paris Saint-Germain is expected to be made on Friday.
