According to recent reports, French superstar Kylian Mbappe is set to join Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer in a record-breaking €250 million deal.
The transfer would make Mbappe the most expensive player in football history, surpassing the €222 million that Paris Saint-Germain paid Barcelona for Neymar in 2017.
Mbappe, who currently plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and captains the France national team, has been the subject of intense speculation over the last few weeks.
The 24-year-old’s contract with PSG is set to expire in the summer of 2024, and he has made it clear that he will not be extending it. This has led to PSG considering selling their star player this summer rather than losing him for free next year.
