Juventus have finalised an agreement to sign striker Arkadiusz Milik from Marseille. The Polish international, who spent last season on loan in Turin, will join Juventus on a permanent basis ahead of the next season.
The deal was confirmed today by Milik’s agent, Dawid Pantak, and the Italian club. Despite not setting Serie A alight with his performances – scoring only nine goals and assisting another in 41 appearances across all competitions – Milik’s contribution was enough to convince Juventus to sign him.
Juventus will reportedly pay €6 million to Marseille for Milik’s signature. Additionally, a €1 million clause in the deal will activate after the striker makes a certain number of appearances.
Lazio had also considered a move for Milik, who previously worked under Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri during his time at Napoli. However, Juventus were always the frontrunners in the race for his signature.
