Inter Milan, the Italian football club, is reportedly interested in signing Trevoh Chalobah, a defender from Chelsea FC. This news comes as Inter Milan prepares to face Manchester City in the Champions League final, aiming for European glory.

Chalobah’s Journey at Chelsea

Chalobah, a product of Chelsea’s youth setup, made his senior debut at the start of last season after loan spells at Ipswich Town, Huddersfield Town, and Lorient. Despite playing a bit-part role for his boyhood club, the former England under-21 international has made 63 appearances across all competitions, operating both at centre-back and right-back.

In November last year, Chalobah signed a new long-term contract with Chelsea, which is set to run until 2028. However, the Premier League side hasn’t yet decided what to do with the player.

Inter Milan’s Interest

Inter Milan’s interest in Chalobah is not new. The Italian side reportedly tried to sign him during the January window. According to Football Insider, the 23-year-old is interested in a move to Italy and would be willing to enter into negotiations with Inter if Chelsea allows him to do so.

While Inter Milan’s interest in Chalobah is clear, the player’s future at Chelsea remains uncertain. Brighton and Hove Albion have reportedly shown interest in including the defender in a potential swap deal for Moises Caicedo, who has attracted significant attention from both Chelsea and Arsenal.
