Jesse Bisiwu struck twice in the closing stages as Barcelona ran out 5-2 winners in an entertaining pre-season friendly against FC Basel at St. Jakob-Park.
The Spanish side broke the deadlock in the 34th minute when Karim Adeyemi steered in a smart finish following incisive setup play from Raphinha.
Basel responded shortly before the interval as Jean Doucoure levelled the scores in the 43rd minute, finishing clinically after being set up by Jonas Harder.
Barcelona seized the initiative immediately after the restart when Hamza Abdelkarim restored their lead with a composed finish four minutes into the second half.
The visitors tightened their grip on the contest in the 81st minute when Lamine Yamal calmly dispatched a penalty to open up a two-goal advantage.
Basel refused to concede defeat and pulled a goal back just three minutes later, with Kazeem Olaigbe keeping his composure from the penalty spot.
However, any hopes of a late Swiss fightback were dashed in the 89th minute as Bisiwu combined seamlessly with Dani Olmo to restore Barcelona's cushion.
Bisiwu added further gloss to the victory in stoppage time, completing his rapid double after converting Yamal's delivery to wrap up a commanding performance.
The attacking display caps a productive outing for the Catalan side as they turn their attention toward a clash with Al Ahly on 19 August.
