Bournemouth Football Club has recently made an official announcement confirming the appointment of Andoni Iraola as their new head coach, signing him on a two-year deal.
The surprising dismissal of Gary O’Neil earlier on Monday paved the way for Iraola to take charge at the Vitality Stadium.

Welcome to #afcb, Andoni 🤝
Iraola’s recent stint at Rayo Vallecano
Iraola, hailing from Spain, joins the club after the expiration of his contract with Rayo Vallecano, a prominent LaLiga team.
In his previous role, he successfully guided Rayo Vallecano to an impressive 11th-place finish in the league during the previous season.
The 40-year-old coach’s tenure with Rayo Vallecano began with their promotion to the Spanish top-flight in the 2020/21 campaign.
He continued to achieve notable success by leading them to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey in the subsequent season.
