Dele Alli underwent surgery last month on his injured ankle. He hopes to recover fully as he aims to get his football career back on track. He was transferred to Everton after Tottenham Hotspur gave up on the midfielder.
Lampard failed to resurrect his career either as he was loaned out to Besiktas. After an initial successful spell, he failed to make an impact in Turkey. He was soon sidelined due to attitude issues. He scored just 3 times in 15 appearances and was then injured for the rest of the season.
The club president was deeply disappointed in the star’s attitude and effort levels, as he calls the English international to change ‘improve as a human’. Speaking to beIN Sports, Ahmet Nur Ceni said: “He was a player we were very excited about when he came. He won’t come back. We didn’t get what we expected from him. I hope he recovers as a human.”
Dele has returned to Everton and will have to see if he is part of Sean Dyche’s plans. He could be sent back on loan as no permanent transfer is considered likely.
