Konrad Laimer has confirmed his move to German champions Bayern Munich. He joins on a free transfer from RB Salzburg where he played for 6 years.
Laimer joined Salzburg in 2017 and made 190 appearances for the club. He scored 15 goals in total and is about to hit his prime at the age of 26. He has signed a 4 year deal with Bayern Munich as the Austria international hopes to win more titles.
Laimer said of his move: “It’s a dream come true for me. FC Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I will give everything for the club and the fans.”
“FC Bayern always has the highest goals — just like me. I’m in the right place here. I’m only capable of giving 100 per cent, and that’s what I’ll put into every training session from day one. I can hardly wait.”
He will now take a break and then join his new squad for a pre-season in Asia with games planned in Japan and Singapore.
