Arsenal and Thomas Partey’s representatives are reportedly working on potential exit strategies for the midfielder. There is interest in the 30-year-old from clubs in Saudi Arabia, and Arsenal will consider their options if a suitable opportunity arises for a sale.
The situation is not believed to be advancing rapidly, and if Partey, whose contract runs until 2025, was to leave the Emirates, a replacement would be needed. Arsenal are considering Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan, who is about to be out of contract at the Etihad Stadium, as potential replacements. Southampton’s Romeo Lavia has also emerged as an option.

Partey moved to the Emirates in October 2020 from Atletico Madrid after Arsenal met his €50million (£45.4 million) release clause. The Ghana international scored three goals in 33 Premier League appearances for Arsenal last season as they finished runners-up to Manchester City.
As the summer transfer window continues, Arsenal fans will be keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding Partey’s potential exit and the club’s pursuit of Declan Rice.
