According to Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al-Hilal has reportedly initiated negotiations with Wolverhampton Wanderers’ talented midfielder, Ruben Neves.
Neves, a Portuguese international, could be enticed by the prospect of a move to the Middle East, particularly if Barcelona does not prioritize his signing, despite reportedly agreeing on personal terms.
Al-Hilal’s Pursuit of Ruben Neves
Al-Hilal has commenced talks with Ruben Neves, aiming to secure the services of the talented Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder.
Neves, aged 26, has established himself as a vital player for Wolves since joining the club from FC Porto in 2017 for a transfer fee of €17.9 million.
With 253 appearances for Wolves across various competitions, the Portuguese maestro has contributed 30 goals and 13 assists to the team’s success.
However, with Neves’ contract expiring next year, his future at the Molineux Stadium remains uncertain, making a potential move to Al-Hilal all the more enticing.

Barcelona’s Interest in Ruben Neves
Ruben Neves has not only captured the attention of Al-Hilal but has also been subject to intense interest from Spanish giants Barcelona.
Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently revealed that Neves had reached a personal agreement with Barcelona.
However, the Catalan club has not taken concrete steps to secure his signature as he is not considered a top priority for new manager Xavi Hernandez.
This situation potentially opens the door for Al-Hilal to swoop in and secure the services of the talented Portuguese midfielder.
