Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly planning to make Dejan Kulusevski‘s move permanent this summer. The Swedish international, who joined Spurs on an 18-month loan deal from Juventus in January 2022, has been a subject of speculation regarding his future at the club.

Kulusevski’s Future at Tottenham

Kulusevski’s future at Tottenham has been a topic of discussion since his loan move from Juventus. The club had the option to sign him permanently for £26 million last summer, but the option was not exercised. However, the option remains valid this summer, and Tottenham is expected to take it up.

Despite the uncertainty, Kulusevski has expressed his love for the club. He stated, “Of course I love the club but I have to speak with the club and see what their thoughts are and how the future is looking. We’ve still got to speak about that.”

Kulusevski’s Performance and Potential

Kulusevski has shown his potential since joining Tottenham. He was superb in the second half of last season, scoring five times and providing eight assists from February. However, he has struggled for consistency this term, scoring just twice in the League.

Despite the challenges, Kulusevski remains confident about his future. He believes he can learn a lot from Harry Kane, who reached 30 League goals for the campaign in Sunday’s 4-1 win over Leeds. “That’s something as young players we have to grow. A million things can happen to the team but you always have to perform and that’s what he does. I have to learn a lot from him in the mental aspect, absolutely,” said Kulusevski.

With no European football for Tottenham next season, Kulusevski sees this as an opportunity for the club to focus solely on the Premier League. This could potentially be a positive for the club and the players, providing them with an edge in the Premier League.
