France emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over Gibraltar. France’s Olivier Giroud scored the first goal just three minutes into the game, and Kylian Mbappé doubled the lead with a penalty just before half-time.
In the second half, Gibraltar’s Aymen Mouelhi accidentally turned a ball into his own net, handing France their third goal.
Throughout the match, France maintained control with 82% possession and launched 31 shots, nine of which were on target.
Gibraltar, on the other hand, struggled to challenge France’s defense, managing only two shots and failing to land any on target.
Despite Gibraltar’s efforts, including winning two late corners, they were unable to score, and France nearly added a fourth, hitting the crossbar three times.
